Another failer by Ervine
Its better to play an all-rounder than him at the moment.
Waller will at least ball if he fails with the bat

Was opening to comment and say Ervine now has an opportunity to score some runs only for him to be bowled...

3 games without doing anything, 1st the warm up match he did nothing, 1st t20 vs bangladesh he ran himself out. today a zero. Im sure other people deserve a chance. We don't want people with permanet positions in the team.

I think someone like Matsikenyeri is mroe suited to T20 than Ervine as he is lightning between the wickets and can rotate the strike.

Good to see Matsi score a few runs today, prob time for them to tee of now with Chigs and Cremer still to come

brmtaylor.com admin wrote:zimlover, I understand what you are saying and I think it's not a bad idea if Zimbabwe was playing a team like Kenya or Canada. But we get so few matches against Test playing nations as it is, so to get the regular top order to bat against quality bowling is important.

On that note, I like the look of this top order for limited overs games. Sibanda and Masakadza opening with Taylor coming in at three looks like the best combination to give Zimbabwe a good start.
This is excatly what i wanted to see why ervine has been getting a spot he has been runnless for the last games may be playing waller or chikabva will be a better option. Now that Mastikenyeri has got a few runs on the board 21 when i last checked he has justified his inclusion in the squad. :W: :W: :W:

i think matsi is great for 20/20 because he just seems to awkwardly get runs. It be hard to bowl to him

Losing Chigumbura to that run out is a big blow, but if Cremer can end up with about 20 or so Zimbabwe will have a competitive total.
