I think this is almost definitely 100% untrue, but somebody has put a rumour out there that the England Lions (their A side) are coming to Zim in the new year.

Kirby is also well regarded in County circles. Between him and Houghton they can make a good pitch for County sides to come out here. I don't see an England A side coming out though. That would be a massively strong side, who would they be playing? It's annoying seeing a President's XI that is basically our national side.

Welch as an overseas player I assume?
That’s interesting that a Windies player has come out for the domestic season.
When is their domestic season? I would have thought similar time to Zimbabwe’s?

Eagles have six games left in the 50 over comp. More than enough time for nick Welch to make a mark. Is there reasonable evidence to suggest he is interested in a Zimbabwe return?
