What I find interesting is his late declaration. He did something very similar to become ZC chairman. I think he announced he is running on the day

Round one of ICC elections: ‘Barclay 10, Khwaja 6, logic 0’ | Cricket News - Times of India https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/spo ... 314316.cms

Here's how it worked before. There's some smoke and mirrors here which is ideal for Mukhu

I've just read somewhere else that in order to be nominated you have to be a past or present ICC director. Was/is he?

"Political correctness" guys might actually see a lot of value in getting him elected, right? Some boards are probably hard pressed to show that as well. He's pretty shrewd and could be playing this very intelligently...

Khwaja was supposedly nominated by Mozambique?
If anyone knows how to twist and work a constitution it's Mr M.

That was a stupid question, if you're a full member you're obviously on the board of directors.

You can't simultaneously be ICC chairman and your country's chairman, plus we've got our elections coming up fairly soon. If this is all happening there are going to be some intense deals going on behind closed doors here.

Here's our board
Sylvester Matchaka Vice
Bornface Machuwaire
Fiona Ndlovu
Lincoln Bhila
Maureen Kuchocha
Arthur Maposa
Tafadzwa Madoro
Godwin Dube
Ronald Chibwe
Godfrey Nyadongo
Lloyd Mhishi

Obviously they all had fine cricket careers and are captains of industry.

SA adverts epitomise political correctness. Some middle aged half witted white man or woman usually having to pretend he/she is dumber than he is, and theyre not too sharp to start with, a jolly uber sharp young black dude, a coloured and an Indian all best of friends.
This nauseating one running thru this WC broadcast is so bad

You must be a wrinkled, old white boomer... this scenario is not as uncommon in real life as you might think in 2022
