Regis is hoping for residency over there. It sounds unlikely he will be back.
Not sure the exact rules regarding residency, but I know Quade Cooper the NZ born Rigby Union player who played a gazillion tests for the Wallabies could never get citizenship because of some rule that you can’t leave the country for a certain period of time.

I’ve had a few friends from the UK attempt to stay here in Oz,
Without being sponsored at work, most look for marriage to stay here. So not sure what grounds Regis is attempting to get residency here in Oz.

I see there are flood warnings being issued for the weekend.
Theyre predicting 50mm of rain. Not sure how that constitutes a flood? The donor agencies and gov officials obviously need to eat early January.

Not sure who im looking forward to seeing most in tye 20 20 series Marumani or Ballance 😄😄.

Ballance return is massive but Marumani is clearly a very good 20 20 player in the making. We clearly missed him in the world cup.

The press release didn't specifically say Regis retired so I think he will still be involved. We will probably see him for the test matches. Not 100% sure about the ODIs but it could be possible
Is Chakabva in the country

Marumani is the backup wk
Poor performance by Madande in 2 games...Marumani might take over the wk duties..

Given what's available, a flawless team selection for once.

Forecast looking pretty bad for the next couple of weeks.

I see they are selling tickets online in advance. A first for Zimbabwe!! Should help to circumvent the longtanding HSC scam where someone sets up a booth at the carpark selling 'official tickets', then you walk 10 meters further and get stopped by the actual genuine official ticket dude and have to pay again

ZC selections have been pretty spot on in recent times. With the exception of perhaps Marumani missing the WC - but even that was somewhat justified in the sense that he's still very much a hit or miss player.
