Aids?
There will be people reading this forum who know Shep personally so I'd wager thats a bit uncalled for....
It’s a question.
I’m trying to work out what long suffering illness this is that didn’t stop him from coaching.

20% of Zimbabwe has HIV so I’m wondering if this is how he died.

Thanks for responding. I honestly didn’t know how to respond to that.

IJahman Shapiro as we called him, was one and possibly the only gentleman Takashinga Cricket Club had. A very knowledgeable and great cricket professional. Always there to listen, chat and spread love.

A good friend can never truly be lost. Their energy goes on in the hearts and minds of all those who love them.

Go well Coach Shep, thank you for all the guidance early days when i was a novice at ZimCricket. You treated me as a young brother and guided me accordingly. Even when I left you always messaged checking up on me and my progress in life.

Go well Humba, Famba zvakanaka my bro! You fought a good battle. Your legacy will forever be remembered!

A huge loss. Had a big impact on many people. From grassroots all the way to the top.

And some comments don't even deserve a response.

Shep was a great bloke. Devastating loss to our cricket community.

You only have to have a quick scroll on Twitter to see the impact Shep had on players he coached.

The next round of Logan Cup matches will be played on Sunday instead of tomorrow, to honour Coach Shep, who will be buried tomorrow in the Capital

Tragic. She was Gary Brent's assistant with the women's national team and was also due to be flying out to coach the U19 girls team for their world cup next week.
