Copied SC’s name format for the thread. Thought I’d start it instead of waiting.

Both games in Harare. Eagles v Tuskers game playing at old hararians (this game is streamed on YouTube, see Zimbabwe cricket channel)

They picked the best game to stream but typical no Ervine or Williams

Eagles off to a good start with the bat. Ngarava is back for them as well.

Ngarava
Chivanga
Evans

Decent pace attack that is. Probably didn’t need Akram as well.

This Eagles team is pretty strong, predicting an undefeated season.

No Ervine, Williams, Moor, Curran, Morris etc. any reason all the white players are missing lol?

Some weaker line ups this week. That Mountaineers team looks terrible - Wellington batting at three wtf!

It is really bizarre, can only think extended Christmas break? Can’t see everyone being injured.

Curran not doing himself any favours by not playing, surely he must be injured.

Maybe Morris was only contracted for a couple of games? He is not a massive loss, I’d rather see the home grown guys get a chance over him. He had a bit of pace but not any better than what we have.

Wellington batting at 3 for the mountaineers just shows how weak that batting lineup is. They can’t rely on Compton to bail them out all the time.

At least Brian Bennett gets his first start. Out for 1 but he just needs a run in the side. Plenty of potential that kid.

Good memories of the Tuskers-Eagles match last year, where Ngarava/Chivanga Vs Jongwe nearly ended in on-field murder and young Madande managed his maiden century in the face of some exceptionally hostile sledging and intimidation. Violence in the bar afterwards apparently

Who was part of violence. Not the saint Chivanga surely? 😆
