Match thread: 1st ODI - Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe
So whats the strategy for the next game? I feel they should drop Mupariwa for Mpofu, he has a bad record against B/D.

Re: Series thread: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe Tri-Series
Welcome to the forum Sir Mupariwa
Mupariwa has been expensive in the last 2 games, but Mpofu also has a tendency to concede a lot of runs. I think Graeme Cremer is probably the best option. Considering how well the spinners from all teams in the tri-series have performed, Cremer for Mupariwa wouldn't be a bad choice. Rainsford and Chigumbura can take the new ball - this should be our new ball combination anyway, they are both strike bowlers - and we can have quality spin for the remainder of the overs. Not to mention, Cremer would strengthen our fragile batting lineup. He averaged 35 in the SAA one-day matches
The bowling is probably the least of our worries at the moment though. Besides Chigumbura, the batsmen have yet to click. I would be surprised if at least one batsman (probably Williams or Sibanda) didn't lose their place for the 1st ODI.
Seeing yours was the first post about the upcoming matches, I've split the post into the match thread for the 1st ODI.

Ashraful expects 3-0 whitewash and a century in all 3 games from batters.
Too wishful i beleive.
Come on Hami, Tibbly. Rise to the occassion.

I think the more likely option would be Waller as th batting department is the one that needs improving. The bowlers have been fine on this tour so they shouldn't be changed, especially as Mupariwa was the form bowler coming into the tour. Cremer and Waller are both leg spinners if i'm not mistaken so if one doesn't play i hope the other wil, in particular as they could both arguably be classed as all-rounders
