He looks like he struggles to change gear a bit. They bowled well to him though. Back of a length on 5th and plugged the gap. He was starting to trigger to 4th but also looks blown.
Still a good innings. Don't think he gave a chance.

It's ok, you add Sean Williams to this side and can easily play an extra batter, it makes such a big difference. Blessing will be back as well.

The purpose of this series is to learn and fill the gaps. I would want a series win still but would rather lose now than at the Qualifiers.

Oh well. Shame we lost on the day the crowd is nearly 100% full!

But sets up Monday very nicely (if the weather plays ball again). Two very similar competitive teams.

What are the chances we'll never see Williams, Ervine, Raza, and Ballance on the park at the same time?
Hopefully the second test against the Windies

The reason we didnt chase it is no one went big 4 scores in 40 or 50. And raza got a start too

Josh Little is the difference between the bowling attacks. Zimbabwe's answer to that has to be Blessing. I'm OK with the batting, but not so with the bowling.

Some really soft dismissals. Madande and Maru got good deliveries, other guys got themselves out.
The new Burl is a true international batsman. Welcome. About time.
Chamu batted well then annoyed with his dismissal.
He will get another start and deserves it.

Ballance just didn’t have the gears to take Zim home today, which further convinced me he’d be better suited higher up the order, especially when Ervine & Williams return.

I still don’t understand why they slowed down when Hume & Campher came on, that’s where the game was lost imo.
