This would be my line-up for Friday's match:

Masakadza (He will come good for sure)
Matsikenyeri (One final throw of the dice, before he is dispensed forever. Let's look at the younger lot, a.k.a., Chakabva and Co.)
Taibu (Please show some sense and determination; we know you can)
Williams (Almost back to his best)
Waller (Expecting another gutsy knock)
Utseya (Continue the good work)
Chigumbura (Demotion = Better performance)
Dabengwa (In fairness, he has tried his best to be useful for the team in last couple of months)
Price (Well, the legend needs no instructions)
Mupariwa (Continue the good work)
Rainsford (Continue the good work)

Sibanda is not in, as he is woefully short on confidence and is confused as to how he should approach the game. Cremer can come in for Matsikenyeri if the selectors think really positively, which would mean that Taibu will open and Cremer will bat after Chigumbura.

For the Friday's 3rd ODI I will choose this Zimbabwean 11:

1.Hamilton Masakadza
2.Tatenda Taibu
3.Stuart Matsikenyeri
4.Sean Williams
5.Malcolm Waller
6.Elton Chigumbura
7.Prosper Utseya
8.Keith Dabengwa
9.Raymond Price
10.Tawanda Mupariwa
11.Edward Rainsford
Forster Mutizwa(12th men)

Vusimuzi Sibanda is out as he is really out of form.I think,Tatenda Taibu is a very good choice to open batting,He can bat aggressively. He has to just concentrate that he will not play any lazy shot like trying too many reserve sweeps back to back.

I will pick Keith Dabengwa and let him bat at no 8 behind Utseya who is in no 7.I think,Chigumbura is fit at no 6,he just needs some more chances.Dabengwa has got a bowling figure of 3/15 in the 1st ODI which is his career best also.He has also fielded well in the 2nd ODI as the 12th men.Enough positive reasons to be in the final 11.

If the selectors dont pick Dabengwa then I think Forster Mutizwa will be picked as an opener in place of Sibanda. But I think very much less chance of it to happen.

But indeed it looks like a pretty strong side.I am expecting a good fight in the final match.

Unchanged for mine. I think the (promising?) opening partnership in the second ODI might have saved Sibanda.

One change we might see is Utseya's position in the batting order, probably depending on the situation though. If we are in trouble he might come out earlier. In fact I think he might have done this in one of the tri-series games, so there is a precedent.

i believe that this is the most important match in zim history for a while as if win then we can have some substance to our claims for test status or at least some more odi's

if we loose then the only way i can see is down, this is our chance we must grab it

With the way we have been batting the less overs there are the more it favours Zimbabwe, I reckon. I would still hope to win the toss and bowl first though.
