First Class debut for 18-year-old Mashford Shungu at Mountaineers
Is he a fast bowler?
Ya. I mentioned him on the forum a year or so back as one to watch in the next u19’s.
Just watched a few overs from him, nice action reminds me a little of Junaid Khan. Little all over the place but looks like there’s something to work with.

Muchawaya seems to bowling with some decent steam today, maybe it’s the stream, but the other day I saw him he looked like a medium pace plodder.

Don’t know which description is more accurate 😂

This pitch at HSC has some serious bounce! I'm glad we aren't playing the Windies there

Shungu and Muchawaya both getting some deliveries to really leap

Muchawaya seemed to get some serious away swing from the lefties as well when he was bowling, couldn’t control it though so he wasn’t as threatening as he could have been.

Madande's exclusion is probably the strangest decision. I feel like this is his format

I've been watching the stream all afternoon, that is a sublime century for Clive Madande. Some beautiful shots, he's looked so comfortable. It takes some serious character to do that on Day 1 after being inexplicably dropped from the national team for inferior players.

Shame Marumani couldn't get there also, but 73 is a good effort - and first time he's batted at three.

Massive middle finger to our shambolic selection panel.

This the same guy who is in the U19 training squad right? Won't he be too old next year?
