Not that I think he should be picked or anything but the forum punching bag, Remembrance Nyathi, has been cranking up genuine call up numbers last two seasons.

Yes he was a great stalwart of the domestic scene in the past 5 or so years, more proof that batsman don’t hit their best till their 30s and selectors should look to pick older players with 3000 runs to their first class careers rather than kids straight out of U19s

Charles Kunje - He seems to have been hurt in the last game he played. But he has been around forever and at 28 he could do no worse than other selections.

It’s an interesting thought for sure
34+ too old but maybe a 30/31 yr old

Yes for sure, the age of 30 is perfect for test cricket, sure in ODIs the younger brash guys can offer some fearless aggression. But a batsman doesn’t know his game fully until he hits 30 imo, and there’s plenty of time left in a career at 30 as well.
