We seem to be giving out caps to everyone at the moment. Over the years there have been a few guys who have had good domestic seasons (hello Ryan Butterworth) but never got an international cap.
Who is the best CURRENT domestic player in Zim yet to have been awarded an international cap?

This guy, Cuthbert Musoko has stunning stats, especially in FC. I only started following Zim domestic recently, why hasn't he ever been selected?

Ernest Masuku for me
Had a great domestic career and has played for the a side a few times.
Decent fast bowler was just never given a chance for the national team

Mufudza has been unlucky. I think Nyasha Mayavo has also been robbed in this series.

Masuku a good shout. Lethal in early morning Harare conditions. Swings it more than Nyauchi.
Very ineffective if the conditions don’t suit though, so he’s definitely a ‘horses for courses’ type of bowler. Exceptionally good when it suits though.
Mufudza a good shout too.
Kudzai Maunze?

Yeah I agree, Masuku’s numbers are quite impressive and he can bat as well, but as we’ve been told by a few members, he can get taped around too at times.
Maunze is also a good shout, when you consider Zimbabwe has used 18 different openers in Test cricket since 2011 (19 if you count Utseya) Kudzai should feel unlucky to not have been given a shot.
Someone mentioned Musoko, I remember watching him in Australia at the U19s WC 2012. He looked a real good prospect but from reports he doesn’t bowl with much pace anymore.

Probably Mufudza for mine. A very solid performer who has been behind other options plus our mix of batting all-rounders over the years.

Jono Campbell is a good shout too, his record is really good in List A 35 with the bat & 33 with the ball
Tafara Chingwara from the Rhinos too, I've seen him bowl on the streams and he has a good action and looks like he's brisk enough, debuted too late though I guess.

Has to be Masuku. Can be very very dangerous on his day. Mufudza is also a good pick. I think our bowlers will always have a difficult time to establish themselves in the team because unless you win the toss and bowl first in Harare we usually prepare relatively flat pitches for national games. We never prepare pitches to their strengths.
