Why hasn't he been playing against Kenya?? I havn't heard about an injury or anything...

The only good thing is that Zim have beaten Kenya without the two best batsmen on paper, Taibu & Williams...

I think,Taibu is dropped for his form.

Forster Mutizwa is doing very well in this series. He already averages more than 41 in his 4 ODI career and he is keeping the wicket. Moreover, all the top order batsmen of Zimbabwe are inform in this series. So,it will be hard for Taibu to return.

But I think,he deserves a place in the team.He is a class batsman of Zimbabwe in paper.Batsmen like Masakadza,Sibanda,Matsikenyeri all got their form back in this series. So,Taibu should be given a chance in this series in order to get his form back.Who can forget his reverse sweep against Mendis and Muraili....Infact I want to see Taibu playing in the 5th ODI against Kenya. It will be good decision for overall Zimbabwe's team prospective.

I'll be the first to admit that i know nothing about the facts of his situation :?

Could it be that in this new cuddly, sharing, loving ZC world that he has been rested solely because of this ridiculous court case later this week ?, it would seem fair to give him ample opportunity for preparation.

I'm sure that it will be sorted out and that Tatenda will be available again in the near future, i can't see the new Mr 'Cuddles' Bvute letting anything else happen :D

Mutizwa and Waller have done a good job so far but we need Williams and Tiba in the side, Kenyan wickets are more like our own and it will be very premature to think they can easily replace the two experienced guys. Kenya attack is not that sharp compared to any of the ODI sides so these guys need to be tasted against the best.

So, the silliness continues

I suppose that, one day, this case will come to some sort of conclusion.

My apologies to you BRM, i've just noticed that you have already flagged this on latest news.

There is another article

http://au.sports.yahoo.com/cricket/news ... n-zimbabwe

which is dated today and mentions, according to Jonathan Samkange, that the trial has probably been put back until mid march.

I hope the problems between Taibu and ZC will be cleared soon.Though it seems difficult right now...

Moreover,Forster Mutizwa did well against Kenya and Regis Chakabva is knocking the international door. But Tatenda Taibu is a very good wicket-keeper batsman. And an experience player too. So,I feel that his role for Zimbabwean team is vital for overall team prospective.

But let's see what happens.

I have heard that Tatenda Taibu is just frustrated with the situation. He is going to tell the court about the corruption which has taken place in Zimbabwe Cricket.
