Do we have a definitive answer on how Madhevere spells his first name? How can there be multiple spellings? The broadcast today spelled his name as Wesley but Cricinfo insists it is Wessly.

I think Wessly is correct. Ive seen team sheets where they spell it like that

Yeah it’s confusing. I’m trying to find the Tweet from a year or two back but I think ZC replied to someone clarifying his official spelling is Wessly.
Maybe he is embarrassed by his parents poor spelling and prefers Wesley though

Yeah often misspelling on birth certificates. I know a lawyer called Primerose- clearly meant to have been Primrose.

Reminds me when Taylor came through .... constant switching between Brendan/Brendon ... but that was just dodgy journalism
