This is heartbreaking, it really is.
We've worked so hard to get to this stave and our top order couldn't take the heat

If we lose I'm not sure we can cite any catastrophic failure. We have simply been undone by some very good bowling. Even conceding a lot of runs at the end of the innings isn't unusual for ODIs - most teams pile it on at the end.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Has Mazakadza got it in him
Wello struggles to score, so luckily the RRR isn’t high so he can just block, push the gaps and run hard.

Obviously Burl needs to be there at the end now
I dont understand his lack of runs though, he opens the batting for the GOATS sometimes and he was a more thank capable batsmen at Churchhill. Why has it never clicked for the national team?
Eddo Brandes once had rhe most runs in club cricket one season. Batted 11.
Different level of cricket.

Yeah, true. 230 odd is hardly an insurmountable obstacle, we just choked under pressure again.

This partnership isn't really inspiring much confidence, I feel like the only way we pull this off is if Burl targets some bowler and peels 20 off an over. Otherwise the wickets will keep coming at the other end.

Yeah. If it was these two chasing 20-30 more, yeah maybe. But with 60 to go it's a long way off.
