I was thinking the same when this news broke out. Will be a disaster if some active players get involved.

This isn't surprising, these leagues exist pretty much exclusively for subcontinent fixers and betters.
You could have made this point without saying subcontinent. But...

Nah it’s just the truth 🤣 a guy from the sub continent is never too far away when shenanigans are happening.

I don’t think Eugene meant any offence at all here.
In a cricket fixing / gambling context, all evidence is that 95% of the market is folk from the subcontinent.

There were a load of random Indian spectators who flew in for the Zim T10. And it wasn’t because of their undying love for watching Cephas Zhuwao or Bobby Mpofu…

These leagues are run from the subcontinent by people from the subcontinent. We know that organizers and associates of these leagues have frequently been entangled in corruption and fixing investigations. We also know that most of the betting on cricket matches originates in the subcontinent.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Oh, I agree. There is enough evidence that a majority of this is done by individuals from / or at least originating from the Subcontinent. But everyone knows that. And that is precisely my point. Why point out their origin? There is no reason to do that.

Maybe I am reading too much into this :)
