Fantastic. Another batter to throw in the mix. Would he open?

Nah, the white guys always hide down in the middle order. The black guys get sacrificed up top.

After Nick Welch have we not gotten to the point where we just have to work with what we have now? Who else do you guys think we have a realistic chance of convincing to play for Zim? I have my doubts about Byrom having Zim in his plans for now. Myers, maybe after uni but I don't see any other professional player coming anytime soon now.

Surely if we are throwing the money at anyone, Cartwright has to be up for a mention. Not really featuring for WA and no chance with Aus, I'm sure he would consider the option of International Cricket.

Agreed.
We have been crying for a pace all rounder since Bliggie smalls and Elton left and Hilton would fit that bill. Jongwe just doesn’t cut it.

I don’t think they have thrown any money at Nick have they? It seems like he’s just taking a chance at breaking into the national team, which of course he should do pretty quickly. Cartwright’s domestic and BBL contract would be over $200,000 a year so ZC would have pay well above that to convince to give those contracts but also living in Aus full time.
