For all that are saying we should send experienced side and are fixated on results. There are a few names mentioned that should have made the Zim Emerging Squad but you lot disqualified them because they have no experience 'have not played proffesional game. What are you smoking South Africa today fielded a side with 8 players who have 5 or less FC experiences of which 6 of them have played no more than 1 FC games. My question is are they stupid fielding in inexperienced side and still whopping a team made up of 8 or so Internationals? What do those International gain from playing in this tour? You cricket development mentality needs revision. F**ck results get deserving youngsters in the side and they learn from there and we build from there. In two years time those kids will be on a different level.

Liam Alder - Age 19 - FC 1; List A 2
Matthew Boast - Age 20 - FC 1; List A 0

Michael Jamie Copeland - Age 21 - FC 6; List A 14
Jordan Hermann - Age 21 - FC 12; List A 19
Sello Valentine Kitime - Age 20 - FC 0; List A 7
Joshua Ray Richards - Age 32 - FC 5; List A 1
Mitchell Van Buuren - Age 25 - FC 23; List A 31
Nealan van Heerden - Age 26 - FC 35; List A 27
George Van Heerden - Age 19 - FC 0; List A 0
Daniel Smith - Age 21 - FC 8; List A 13
Nhlakanipho Mpungose - Age 23 - FC 5; List A 4
Peter Nqaba - Age 19 - FC 0 List A 0

Question: how did the ‘fuck results’ approach serve Zimbabwe cricket over the past twenty years?

Their young guys are mostly better than ours. Surprisingly this side seems to be loaded with Afrikaans names. I wonder how many of them played u19? I would think not that many as their age group sides are subject to quota. If you see how many good schools and facilities they still have and how many really good players don't get a look in because of quota its amazing. They could literally make up another 5 teams that would thrash their official u19 team.

Wallace Mubaiwa is a guy that should definitely be in the mix.

Quick question so what does it say about Zimbabwe Cricket? When a side with 7 internationals gets walloped by a side with 8 players who have less than 5 FC matches under their belt (5 of them have played no more than 1 FC match). What did the international players benefit from this tour? Absolutely nothing, a waste of resources.

For some reason he didn't get any fc exposure for years, and for sure has not much experience but he's quality.
