I agree about Chivanga. He can make a difference against associates. Definitely a better pick than Mumba or Akram.

Realistically Craig will probably play T20s until the World Cup IF we qualify. After that I think they need to push Madande up the order to do the job Craig does and then bring in either Munyonga or Musekiwa at number 7.

As for Williams I think maybe Bennet or Myers who should finish Uni next year can replace him. I don't see him playing until 2027. Potentially add Dane into the mix as well next year if he doesn't get a new contract but he needs a strong domestic season.

This is for T20s by the way. Its easier to hide the void in shorter games. It will be clearly seen in longer formats. This plan of eradicating ODIs actually works really well for ZC. Harder to see the struggles.

Well done Raza you absolutely beauty.

I never want to see ervine Faraz or mumba in a 20 20 match ever again. Ervine fine for 50 over though and tests.

Hope ngarava is back for Friday match.
What is the situation with Sean Williams?
Agree on Ervine, I may sound harsh but he is not suited for T20s. They can get Bennett or Matt Welch in his place.
It'll help the team too if we slowly move away from Ervine, in the shortest format. Dealing with life after Raza, Williams and Ervine.
Exactly. Williams and Raza can still fit in for T20 WC next year, but we've got to start replacing Ervine in T20 format for a start.

I won't mind Sikki getting captaincy for the T20 WC.

Let’s worry about retiring Craig from the T20 scene until next years WC.
All hands on deck until then.

Kudwash mackeka has been taking wickets for fun recently and seems genuinely quick. Same guy Kyle jarvis hyped up in recent past.
Would give him a go vs Ireland in December for sure.

Define 'taking wickets for fun'?

He was only 33rd in the NPL wicket taking standings. And has played 1 match in the Pro50 before getting injured.

As good as you might think someone looks, you can't select a guy who has only ever taken 25 professional wickets in his entire career so far for international cricket. it's not fair on others. You need a bigger sample size and record.

I mean no offence to Macheka who did bowl very well in that match last week. Not a slight on him at all. He has potential for sure.

But we need to be selecting players who have proved their worth over a longer run than just 1 or 2 good performances!
