Picking Mayavo but batting him at number 9  What’s the point? If you have no faith in the guy then just pick Madande surely?

He is a much better keeper than Madande, so this has worked out okay today, but I'd rather play Madande for the experience. I suppose everyone needs a rest now and again.

Is the first time ever we have batted down to 10? Ndlovu knows how to handle the bat so it was only Larry as an out and out bowler.

Not looking forward to the bowling, without Ngarava this bowling attack looks pretty average.

Well batted Ervine, he needed that performance with the bat. Literally standing tall whilst others crumbled around him.

Thought he rotated strike better today as well.

When him and K-long were at the crease together I thought we were going struggle to make 100.

If we are going to consist with K-long then he needs to be a 6 over player, let him swing for the fences and hit some nice sixes in the powerplay, then hole out when the field is out. Need to start seeing 30 from 20 from him.

He also ran Kaia out after a couple of nice early shots from him.
I’d persist with Welch & Kaia as the opening partnership for now. Maybe pick K-long against Nigeria or someone just for the fun of it.

Runout going for 3 ffs

I would actually prefer Madhevere or Ervine up top with Welch. Madhevere batting as low as he did today is not good for him.
