Seriously people he obviously enjoys the ball coming on so opening the batting is not sending him into the deep end at all. It's the best spot to bat in t20 games. Hopefully he gets a decent crack at it now , batting him at 7 or below was a joke in the first place.
He has never ever ever opened, that is literally the very definition of throwing him in the deep end. Dartboard selection by a completely incompetent coach. Does anyone even know who is coaching this ‘u25’ side? All the usual boys club brigade are busy coining it in that fixing league in India for the semi-retired.
Bennet did well in the deep end, obviously. Because he’s class. But it doesn’t excuse the very poor team management and selection.
Quota system being panned on facebook the local new fans seem to think madande and Wes should be dropped for Bennett, Jono and naqvi before they all get lost to counties. Guessing they’d have knackers as the keeper.
These murungus are head and shoulders above their counterparts. A poster not recognising talent if it slaps them in the fave. Nothing new to see here hey Frank

There has been evidence of poor team management for years, if you call playing against Uganda as an opener is throwing him into the deep end then may as well pull the pin. Good players learn quickly and adapt according , for years zim has given opportunities to players that cannot do this. Bennett and hopefully Campbell can now start knocking on the door of the national side , but they need to be trusted and backed by batting up the order in these games instead of giving opportunities to players that just aren't up to it.

Give it a spell, Madande is going to be a star as I've already stated on numerous occassions. Wes has untapped ability and is worth persevering with but he needs to be mentally tougher. There needs to be pressure from the likes of Bennet , Campbell and Naqvi if he eventually becomes eligable. 9nly.going to help get better and have replacements for Ervine and Williams .

Kind of my point yo. I’d agree with them about Wes but they want Clive dropping for a murungu with no valid reasoning behind it haha. Clive is a solid player. Wes is awful and has been a long time. He too has potential but he needs to get his head in the game and a break from the national side might give him that opportunity to sort himself out.
