Greatest Batsmen

I know this is an absurd topic but could anyone out there tell me why it is that most of the greatest batsmen of our time are short( I dont know how Sir Bradman was) but have a look at this list.
Tendulker,
Ganguly,
Lara,
Chanderpaul
Jayawaderna
Bell,
Matsikenyeri,
Ponting,
Gilchrist,
Taibu,
Goodwin etc.
Is it me or short guys make great batsmen?

Sorry BrmTaylor Admin, Andy Flower should have been the first guy on the list. So sorry about that. Any cricket fan worth his salt knows that the Flower brothers were/are one of the best batsmen around. No pun intended.
