Raza’s English Escapade 2024

Post by Pat_Bee »

It can have its own thread

Decent first game: 0/32 off his three overs, ball wouldn’t have been biting much with the afternoon rain before the game and he wasn’t the worst bowler. 38(27) in a match winning partnership with Ravi Bop, had to work for it though; a couple of sixes and a four, the rest ran. Couple of catches and literally seemed to be everywhere in the field.

He got tapped first over up. I wouldn’t be giving him the next over.

Notts motoring 77/1 off 7.

Somewhat expensive 1/23 off two overs and a catch. Didn’t need to bat. Yorkshire on Sunday if he gets picked.

You keep saying 'if he gets picked'...why?

In England the overseas basically play every single game. Even if they end up on a bad patch of form. He'll play every game he's available for without doubt. It's not like the IPL where squads have like 30 overseas players sat on the bench.

Can we put a thread on this page or do we have to use the other? It's toil flicking between that page and this.
I'll wait for guidance from senior dorm

Yeah, I watched it. Exciting game!

Those wides in the middle overs cost Canada though. Gave USA the momentum they needed. :)

I watched the second innings, ya the game was good.

Really hurts that Zimbabwe aren't a part of this tourney.
