I’m honestly not that fussed about us playing these teams and I wish every full member had to. They do in football. And other sports. Every team should have to qualify through world cups, other than the host.

Albeit maybe teams that literally don’t have enough bats, or teams who don’t have enough players to fulfill their matches, shouldn’t be allowed to enter.

Hopefully our guys are being sporting and supportive and sharing some advice with these little teams after the end of the matches and they will learn something from the experience.

Agreed, good for the game for sides to have to qualify on merit.

I'm expecting a couple of wins against Pakistan... One in T20 and one in ODIs.
Only if they’re fixing. They’re on fire destroying moral victory champions England in Multan  and that was without Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Shaheen a d Babar were dropped. Naseem was rested because it was a spinners pitch.

Pakistan are vulnerable, if they can lose to the US then surely they can lose a game to Zimbabwe as well, provided Zimbabwe plays good cricket. I'm having my hopes up for a couple of wins. I agree though that Pakistan will be favorite to win every game.

That Moz guys gets prodigious swing.
I've traveled extensively in Moz and have never seen a cricket ground.
I'm not sure what a small team learns from being battered like that.
I must say I thought they'd be a bit better than they are.

US had a good team in that WC, not to be sneered at.

I knew that the teams would not be able to cope with blessing and ngarava pace and bounce. It's completely alien to most of these teams

Same. A quick google and it looks like they just play on soccer fields with a roll out wicket mat. Probably not even played on turf much before!

Cool to see their team is all Joao’s and Carlos’ though and not 15 Asians.

Good old fashioned colonial names

Up there on a par with Hamilton and Wellington.
