Shaun Handirisi is a decent player as well, but haven't seen him in any franchise sides? He was really good as a teenager, had lots of potential.

I'm guessing the guys in the franchise squads that are not lined up for games will play Club twos. It skews the playing field quite significantly. There will be some strong sides being picked.
Whoever wins i guess goes into first league, but then that side will be depleted because the good players will move into the club first team when that season starts.

I'm not seeing Ronak Patel's name in any of the franchise squads? I've searched a few times and drawing a blank.
I've seen him play, he's got a smart mouth for a youngster, but he's not bad. He's got some promise, but he's currently not the next "big thing" at all. Has some work to do.

Kamwemba is in Eagles and playing club second team. There's some rule about playing club twos and then being unable to play Club ones for a few games? I dunno if or when he'll get a start for Eagles.

These franchise sides are all quite strong on paper. Guys will struggle to get games.
It's not club second team, in fairness. 2nd Division, yes, but that particular club's first team.

Does anyone know the eligibility rules for the Vigne Cup between the 2 divisions and 1st and 2nd teams? It doesn't seem obvious, given that the 2 divisions don't run in parallel.

I think anyone who's played Two's has to sit out some games before they're allowed to play, but not sure the exact ruling.

And they don't usually enforce rules unless it suits them.

Poor batting record at franchise level over the years unfortunately so he’s fell well off the radar.

Incredible keeper though - possibly the best glove work in the country.

I believe under 23’s can move freely between 2nd and 1st league. For over 23’s there is supposedly a cool off period of a few weeks, but probably not enforced for certain teams…

The one guy that seems to have calmed down a lot is Mehluli Sibanda. Don't hear much from him anymore. Zolsky seems to have taken up the slack

Quick to sing off the hymn page, but it obviously doesn't pay the bills. It's bizarre how many Zanu supporters will leave, given the slightest opportunity.
I wonder if there's any self-reflection whatsoever?
