What Raza says makes a lot of sense. Can't pick players based on a single performance. Vinnys performance was good but does that get him in the team I think not. He has to keep performing. Raza himself was a bang average player when he started off. But he worked on his game through the years at the various levels he mentions now he is one of the very best. I reckon he knows what he is talking about.

Nobody is suggesting that.
It's worth giving him one game out of two regionals though. How many good leggies have we got?

Also, white ball and red ball form are somewhat different. Masekesa wasn't picked for the first Mountaineers 50 over game.

Mohammad Nabi has announced his retirement after the CT 2025, meaning he should be available for the Zimbabwe series. What a player he's been. He may not be as talented as the newer generation of Afghan players, but how many other 60 year old players have earned a Man of the Series award for their team? Absolutely phenomenal to be doing that at such a geriatric age!

ZC Facebook showing the highlights of that 2022 World Cup Pakistan game. Man that was the greatest game ever. Bradders defending 11 off the last over, old Regis almost fumbling the run out on the last ball  pommie on comms

They're different everywhere else in the world, except here. A good red ball season gets you picked for T20.
Unless they don't like you then you have to wait until incumbents' averages drop into single figures and you've just come off 4 double hundreds, but they won't because we get to play Mozambique and Rwanda to boost the averages.

I'm curious whether Williams is in the mix. Pretty sure Ervine will be, but I'm thinking Sean may be excluded.

Oh and Naqvi. He's not made runs every single game he's played so they'll think he's useless.

Just a guess. We'll see tomorrow if he's in these regionals.
