Y'all are really giving them the business. Or at least you were before the rain.

Can only play the oppo in front of your, Zimbabwe got away with a poor batting show. Good captaincy from Craig for once to get Williams into the attack after ten overs and then to get Raza on to get through the overs.

I have never seen a Queens track break up like that so early in a match, yes it spins a bit but no that much.

Zimbabwe win an ODI at last. Richard Ngavara was in Top form today with good performances. Doubt we will see any changes for the next game given that the staff believe in not changing a winning team. Good first 11 though. Our batters have some serious home work to do.

Well that was an amazing comeback from Zim. I surely never thought they'd collapse like that.
That DLS win was unsatisfying, we were going to win comfortably anyway.

Hopefully the batting unit can do better next game. Really disappointing to get starts and not kick on.
From the actual squad picked that was a decent starting eleven. Not to labour a point but statistically our best T20 batsman wasn't even on the park.

I was surprised Williams bowled first up, his bowling has been average of late, but he came good. I'm guessing he wasn't too confident giving it to Mavuta with a low total on the board.

Frankenfurter knew Bennett was batting down the order today  That is fascinatingly insane that the u19 ZC media fellow knows what the line-up is.

Quite a big call batting Dion at 3. Hard to create a more suitable line-up with those players though.

If Gwandu is really the third seamer we could be in trouble should one of the frotmen get injured. Hope we get a look at Maposa at a some point. :D But that won't happen if we keep winning.

Good win nonetheless we could get a few more converts who believe we should be down playing The Gambias of this world in oblivion territory.

Big shout out to Richie Ngarava. Was he MoM?
That was an unbelievable game from him. Had Rizwan in a knot as well.

What happened with Musekiwa? He's was in the squad and then he wasn't?

So who's left on the bench?
Maphosa, Akram and ....

Impressive from ZIM. Shambolic from PAK lol. They could go on to lose the series.

Vital points for Zimbabwe though and they will jump about 50 on the ratings and might pip Scotland and back into the top 12.

Myers will come good. Give him a full series against Pakistan and Afghanistan and he will produce goods at some point.

Amazing to think that if we win one of the next two games we will create history and beat Pakistan in an ODI series for the first time. Cricket is a funny game, we got off to a great start and then gifted our wickets away.

Marumani, Gumbie, Williams, Raza (Don't blame his shot), Mavuta all played poor shots yet somehow Richie manages to give the bowlers a target to defend and a bit of confidence going into the second innings.

Strange that Zimbabwe always play better when defending a low total, we have a decent record defending low scores in T20s.

I'm sure it will be the same XI, I wonder if they will think about calling up Wellington and even Burl if the wickets are going to spin as much as they have. Shame Jongwe is injured, he would be difficult to face on this with all his slower balls.
