I think we might as well have a look at Maposa instead of Gwandu.
I wouldn't change anything else personally. There may be an argument from some to maybe give Bennett a chance to open and then bring in Madande at 7. But I say give the current batting lineup the chance to redeem themselves after the two previous poor performances.

More rain in the forecast.
Typical, it hasn't actually rained in Bulwayo for around 18 months. Until the cricket arrives, of course

Just read on the bbc that water has run out in byo so its actually great that the cricket got the rains to come back! Byo has always been a dry and poorly planned city anyway
The higher you go the cooler it becomes.

Ya, rains sorely needed down there.
Re: Zimbabwe vs Pakistan | 3rd LOI | 28 November 2024
Exciting day.
Potential to win a series.
Potential for the rain to come and draw a series
Potential to lose a series.
I am inclined to make a change
Maybe Maposa in for Gwandu
Mavuta out for Musekiwa --Really depends on the pitch.

Given the way our batting has gone in the last two games, we really need an extra batter in the side. In any case we are hardly bowling 50overs so for me unless we put Pakistan to bat first
Mavuta out for Madande
Gwandu out for Maposa
Mavuta out for Madande
Gwandu out for Maposa

Surely depends on what pitch has been prepared? If the curator has been told to prepare one that doesn't turn then we're losing big.
If it's not turning Mavuta needs to be swapped out.
That's Madande or Musekiwa. Given that they'll probably be coming in earlier rather than later Madande possibly shades it.
TG probably needs to be replaced. Statistically we have our greatest ever T20 batsman itching to go. It's a no-brainer.
I don't get these 20 starts and then going out which Zim has perfected. Our batters look good up until the point they're suddenly out.
Williams is scoring 100 today.

Happy with the X1 for the decider

Whilst Blessing and Richie are wicket takers, they're not that accurate. There's always a 4 ball somewhere.
