In amongst my great disappointment at the result I was wondering about crowd numbers for the game (I didn't get a chance to watch the game and have only seen the youtube highlights clip). The crowd looked rather sparse from the video. Was it made up mostly of bused-in school children or more traditional cricket fans?

A few kids there, but it was mostly adults and it was a really diverse crowd. Charles Coventry snr, Ian Robinson and his wife, Brendan Taylor's parents, the entire upper brass of ZC, the franchise CEO's... all in attendance.

It built up throughout the day to an extent, there were probably 2000-3000 there as a wild guess.

I thought the crowd was great today. A decent size around 3000 all singing and dancing even though when Bangladesh was nearing victory.

I thought it really represented modern zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe cricket team. Blacks and whites sitting together having a great time a real party atmosphere. Hope they continue getting behind the team.
