It's a blunder, time to chnage the leadership.

Asif Ali...................... Pakistan

It's time to make some really needed changes in the Zimbabwean National Team.

The only reason of lost the series against Bangladesh is the planning of captain & coach, which is really ridiculous because when your opponent played with six regular bowlers then how you went with four regular bowlers if you went with four bowlers then you are just kidding with your profession.

A teenager can understand this fact that on a batting track you needed more bowlers to stop the flow of runs then why the coach & captain or the man who select the final eleven can’t understand that. That is the only reason that Bangladesh win the series that they know well which kind of strength needed on which track. The Zimbabwean selects the team as they play at Perth (Australia) a fast track where you need a big batting line up. When they will understand that on a batting track you needed strong bowling line to restrict the opposition? It’s really early to say that they can understand that.

Big fact is that you get seven batsmen in the team but after that sixth batsman Eleton Chigumbura no win have the ability to clear the boundary, Waller is middle order batsmen who really need some time to set at the pitch and the same case is with Matiskenyeri. So it’s a blunder to get a middle order for 7th & 8th place and sent them in last five overs for hitting. It is millions times better that take a bowler on for that batsman, which one at least can bowl for the team.

Sorry to say that final eleven selection is really poor through out the series, your batting has progressive well in every match you had no need to take any extra batsman because the pitch really support the batsman, you need more regular bowlers at least five regular bowlers. Your batting line is going to be strong day by day after the come back of Coventry & Vermulen. You have Taylor & Williams who knows how to rotate the strike & find the gaps.

Through out the series I wrote to the forum that please take five bowlers and then see you will win the series, no one can beat you. But the team management can’t understand so it’s needed to change the leadership or it’s best for utseya to leave the captaincy and give the team a new skipper with fresh mind. He really can't use the bowlers well, he bring a part timer when the batsmen are set and he can’t take right decisions to changing the bowlers and set the fielders. It’s really enough for that Coach and Captain.

The Coach and Captain are the responsible for losing the series no more reason every thing was fine except the selection of playing eleven which goes with four regular bowlers on the batsmen paradise track. Zimbabwe lost the series and specially 2nd & 4th ODI because of one bowler short. So it’s time to change the seats of captain & coach.

Being a Pakistani I am big fan of Zimbabwe cricket and I really hearted when Zimbabwe lost. I want to see them as wining team with a wining combination, which will difficult to beat. Now that batting department is so strong to face the world, they just to do some work on their bowling department. They should set the selection rules of selecting six batsmen, one all rounder & four bowlers (genuine regular bowlers) that is necessary if you want to back in test cricket.

Best of luck Zimbabwe

I cant help but agree with you. Team selection has been our biggest let down as always. We always manage to perform in patches rather than maintaining some consistancy through out the game. Im a big fan of Utseya (went to xool with th dude) but I think his not the captain we through he would be. He should do the honuorable thing and step down. Maybe hand over the cap to Price (cant see any one else). We really need someone who can fire up the team. Just like what happened when Robin Brown coached the team. I like Price's spirit, the dude really gives it 200% everytime. He maybe the slowest guy in the team but what he lacks in speed he makes up for in his will. If some of that can rub off to the rest of the team then we will be moving in the right direction. Mr Campbell and his team should really make their selection wisely from here on in. They (selectors) just got in and I dont think there is any need to change. Its good to see the so call "rebels" getting back in the frame. I reckon the current players will learn a lot from the old players.

Hi! Anusha Dear,

You & me can't do any thing but we can share our ideas for the team we like very much. I'll sure that at last they really learn from that and got some thing to proove the world the Zimbabwe is one of the best team in the world which one really hard to defeat. So keep going on & share your ideas for a country which has already facing a lot of social & ecnomical problems. Finaly well said words that "God helps them in every field to face the world".

Best of luck Zimbabwe
