ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier | Namibia | 31 August 2025 - 06 September 2025

Post by Pat_Bee »

Group A

Namibia
Nigeria
Sierra Leone
Zimbabwe

Group B

Kenya
Rwanda
Tanzania
Uganda

All the games in Windhoek.

Rwanda and Sierra Leone qualified for this by being finalists in the sub qualifier. Wouldn’t say we are strong favourites but should be in the mix, on the favourable side of the draw. Beat half those sides at some invitational t20 tournament in Rwanda with a HPC squad recently.

No squad announced yet. Hopefully Nkomo and Zimunu are back after the missing the Ireland tour. Bowling attack was lacking something once Sibanda was bowled out. Concerning.

Kelis Ndhlovu suspended from bowling in international due to illegal action.

She has chucked it for 2 years, easy to see on the streams. Crazy that ZC have not acted.

There’s better spinners than her, that’s no concern.

Yeah, ZC don’t care about chuckers in domestic  Guys never remedy their action.

2 wins from 2 so far, topping the table. Massive match against Nigeria today, semi final place at stake.

Quality side Nigeria. They had a lot of investment from their board and it shows.

Bossed it, smashed Uganda in the semi final and off to the global qualifier.

I know at least 5 guys watched it so the PR paid off

Most thrilling game I’ve ever watched, looked done and dusted at one point then gwanzura and Biza went ballistic took 20 odd off an over

Uganda definitely have oh number. They nearly pulled it off but that Biza though is she like 16 now?
