3 T20s in Bulawayo (HSC is being prepped for the qualifiers). Interesting that one of them is a 9.30 start to replicate some of the morning matches in the qualifiers.

Do we need them though ? Sometimes we should know how much is too much. Blessing already looks tired and worn out. He should surely be rested here. Cremer can be tried, BT can open . Few combinations can be tried but for God sake blessing needs to be rested

Blessing can be rested
But we don’t play enough T20s
Should be warm up for batters and any fringe players on the squad.

You cant play too many T20's. If a bowler can't bowl 2 overs, have an hour's rest and bowl 2 more then I don't know.
Our bowling and fielding was good. Evans bowled well and got the key wicket. I see Portia Chitendere has removed her name off that hit piece that someone wrote for her because I doubt her cricket knowledge is that extensive.
Chasing 80 should be a non event, unless it's Zim. We can make any low chase a nail biter.
I see the social media pressure on Musekiwa has caused a massive defensive reaction. Even Raza has weighed in and said he's special after his 21 off 14, complete with heart emojis, when we needed 3 an over and Sri Lanka had mostly resigned themselves to not being able to defend 80. I'd feel very aggrieved, were I Musekiwa, that Raza had set such a low bar.
Hes a big hitter, but he is very prone to going dot dot dot. It's not an issue when u need 3 an over. Spin is his achilles.
He got us over the line for a much needed win. I'd like to believe the 3 bowlers and Evans could have got 20 runs in 40 deliveries though. Maybe not
The problems come when the pressure is on.
That winning shot of his over mid off was a great shot, if he can do that more regularly it would be very impressive.
Theyre going to be sticking with Munyonga and Musekiwa, that much is obvious. In "practice" internationals, if there is such a thing, I'd be sticking them further up the order so they hopefully get more time in the middle. They need to be exposed or to go up a level and succeed, either or. I dont have any faith in them. Theyre literally hit or miss.
Not the time to find out if they lack ability and bottle in a crunch qualifier.
Maru is sticking with his game plan of helping everything round the corner, it will continue to bite him so long ad the sun sets in the west. Williams and Raza were poor with the bat. The Bennett luck was on display, but he played well.

Should have tried cremer. This series was the best chance.

Creamer would come in to take injured Masakadza's what are the chances of that happening.

I thought they would have tried to sneak Madhevere and Nyamburi in there. They did manage to get Wello and Myers though. I expect a couple of them to be make the qualifer squad to carry drinks
