nice long tour for the boys, this will give them decent exposer to international level.

We must not expect to much of them in this series, we should judge them on the results of the under 19 world cup where they would of had time to learn about there game from the two series against Bangladesh and Pakistan.

They must be given time!!!!

Agreed- the U19 side hasn't seen any action since the last U19 World Cup, so for most of the squad this will be their first international action for a while (probably at all for a lot of the squad). Pakistan have also won the last two U19 World Cups, so they're no pushovers at this level...

From 2008 team, Edzai Jaure, Peter Moor, and Tinotenda Mutombodzi may be still eligible to play for the U/19 team. Are they still around?

Peter Moor: still on the scene, but places school above cricket which may affect his availability for the U19 side - usually only plays in weekend matches during the domestic season.

Edzai Jaure: played for Easterns in the Met Bank T20 in 2008, but didn't appear for them again during the 2009 season - not sure if he's still about, can't find a record of him playing after his appearances for Easterns.

Tinotenda Mutombodzi: Played for Northerns is all three competitions last season and didn't disgrace himself, would expect to see him return this season.

Both Moor and Mutombodzi wll be 19 before the U19 World Cup gets underway, I think, so it depends on where the cut-off date for eligibility is...

think they will both be eligable as last time england had a 20 year old playing for them, so think under 19's include 19 year olds.

I think pete moor is having trials to play for Southen Rocks so a friend tells me.

Who was the player who was 15 but scored a couple of hundreds in the national league last year and plated a bit of the faithware, any one know?

I think you are talking about Roger Kahiya. He did promise a lot, but not much came through after the national league. If he is part of one of the franchises, we can get a better look this time around.
