Should have if they batted at peak potemtial. 110 after 15, needed a Riyad plus Tamim to get those extra 17 runs dispersed over those final 30 deliveries. Unlikely but doable. Was poor that a) failed to get 160 and b) failed to keep them under 140. Our NRR is horrible, and there is a possibility all groupmmatches get washed out. So if Ireland beats Oman by 9 runs or more, highly likely, they could be through on NRR. Thats what you get when you have Al amin bowling with that hideous action.

Oman pulls on on the Irish! Whats more the game js so close that if the group is all washed out from here BD qualifies over Oman on NRR. Just imagine of Oman were to qualify...
