That's just my assessment based on what I've seen. When it comes to young quicks going around I rate Pat Cummins, Adam Milne, and Taskin as the best potentials.

Oddest innings comes to a close with us setting AFG 268 to win. Should be enough, but you never know. Methinks 300 was par on this surface. Sluggish start had us struggling to reach 200...then a middling charge has us looking at 280-300 before a late collapse to 267.

AFG have momentum but are prone to collapses. I call them Bangladesh lite, lol.

Good start here 18-3 from 8. Asking rate will climb and AFG will panic!

Have to admit I was hoping for an Afghan win (I love a good upset), but that's not looking too likely at the moment...

BD seamers are actually bowling pretty well....
I'm also a bit surprised... Afg batsmen handled the Indian fast bowlers well in the warm-up and now this.....

I feel ya. Its important for Associates to do well and maybe force a rethink for the next world cup. 14 teams is too many, I agree. But 10 is too few. Make it 12, keep the top 8 auto qualification, and make BD/ZIM qualify. Everyone wins. I'm rooting for the Irish to knock over everyone in their group, including ZIM. But I'm rooting for ZIM to knock over the others.

Would love to see ZIM and IRE both in QFs. Rooting for Afghans too, just not today.

I assumed Indian seamers were better than BD ones.....
Surprisingly, no sixes so far in the Afg innings
