I'll admit I haven't been following this story about the spot fixing very closely, but after reading the reports of the statements made on the stand by his former team mates I'd say Chris Cairns is in serious trouble here .....
Personally it's very disappointing for me one of my earliest memories of test cricket was watching Aus v NZ in 2001 I think it was where the underdog Kiwis really pushed the world champion Aussies in a great 3 test series which ended 0-0. Cairns was the standout for me with bat and ball then his hundred in the VB Tri series against RSA at the Gabba was a top ODI innings for those days. I was automatically a huge Chris Carins fan he really had that attitude and loved competing but this is all very disturbing and if he is guilty I hope he gets all he deserves ......
