General thread. Will be interesting to see how Sam Curran does for England relative to the other pacers in wickets not conducive to pace. Are there any other Zimbos on other teams.

England shot out for 149. Our boys (= Ryan Murray) can hold their heads up high in comparison. The match next Sunday is going to be interesting with Sam facing his old mates.

Yeah murray scored 123, all of England only managed 149. We should make it to the semifinals at least if we don't choke.

Anyone starting to think we have a chance at progressing past the group stages ? Should beat Fiji then hopefully our recent experience of playing in these conditions can help us cause an upset .....

Maybe mashinge could replicate Tinashe panyangara's heroics against Australia in the 04 WC .......

England have bounced back and put the Fijians to the sword. 371 for 3. Can't see Fiji even getting half that. I'll bet Curran runs through them to take 5 for practically zilch.

BD getting to a solid 240 for 7 vs defending champs SA. Saffers bowled quite well, especially at the death. Some decent seamers in Sipamla and Mulder. Whitehead is a talented looking SLA. Can't see the Proteas chasing this dowm tho.
