Brendon McCullum is a very good player. I never liked Craig McMillan - infact most New Zealanders never liked Craig McMillan. Shane Bond is a great bowler too, shame he is often injured.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

I think the selectors will go with the following side:

1. Tim McIntosh
2. BJ Watling
3. Matthew Sinclair
4. Ross Taylor
5. Martin Guptill
6. Daniel Vettori
7. Brendon McCullum
8. Darryl Tuffey
9. Tim Southee
10. Brent Arnel
11. Chris Martin

Jeetan Patel might be included depending on the pitch. Basin Reserve pitch at this time of year probably doesn't favour spin however. I think Sinclair will replace Ingram who has been in poor form lately. I think Kane Williamson from Northern Districts should have been chosen ahead of Sinclair who has always disappointed at international level.

The top seven batsmen are strong. Daniel Vettori is a true allrounder now.
