That 2nd session would have been the Windies' but for both wickets falling in the last 10 balls of the session. Blackwood in particular had played beautifully and will really rue being caught down the legside of a harmless Miraz delivery.

With the two set batsmen dismissed inside 5 mins, and the tail now exposed, BD can look to gaining a sizeable lead heading into Day 4. Perhaps bat 2 to 2 and half sessions and give the bowlers 4 sessions to force a result.

Wow. That must be fastest tail end collapse in Test history.

Blackwood and Da Silva were on a 99 run parternship when the latter got out. 5 wickets falling in the space of just 23 balls and 6 runs.

What a day of Test cricket. Had everything, solid middle order partnership by Blackwood and Da Silva, a tail end collapse, a top order collapse, and fiery express pace bowling.

Mominul and Mushfiq - surely the two shortest international cricketers both at 5 feet 3 inches - will look to bat time. Run rate isn’t an issue with us effectively at 218 for 3. But Gabriel is bowling fire from one end and both spinners are bowling well with the pitch expected to assist them further.

It’s been a pretty good Test match so far.

Bonner and Mayers giving Bangladesh a tremendous scare
Right now. Asking rate is barely 3 an over with 2 of their best batters still to come.

Park team or not, Way more fight than the Windies “first string” side that toured BD in 2018.

The Windies are in the verge of a massive result here! Crazy that a side that is already struggling can leave out the majority of their best players and put in a performance like this.

Great for world cricket

Kyle Mayers what a performance

And the Windies have won!!!! Kyle Mayers 210* to win a test in the 4th innings on debut!!! Looking at his career numbers in first class cricket (ave 28 with two hundreds) has there ever been a player with less credentials play such an innings??

Also read he is the first player to score a double ton in the 4th innings on debut

Some soul searching for the Bangladesh team

Awesome win for the Windies! It was well worth staying up all night to watch. Anyone fancy SA pulling off the same against Pak tomorrow?

Wow, that came out of nowhere! I was expecting this to be a walk in the park for BD. Kyle Mayers pulled it off almost singlehandedly.

Awesome win for the West Indies! In the big picture this win doesn't change much, but oh how I would love to see a powerful Windies team again. I was growing up at the tail end of their dominance (early/mid-90s) so never fully experienced their greatness.
