Windies needs to revamp their longer format domestic structure Regional Four Day & Regional Super50 is not giving them the players required for playing longer formats. West Indies have been nothing in longer formats except few surprise wins came in few occassions.Imagine West Indies are now having shortage of 150 kph pacers :( which is hardest think to believe keeping in mind the pace quadret and the fst bowling bench strength which used to terrorize opponents batsman, many of them used to shiver in facing them. Not only bowling their batting class after Lara, Sarwan, Hooper, Chanderpaul has been completely demolished.

Its the T20& T10 leagues have broken Windies cricket into pieces, even their under 19s who looked to have got some talents are now following the paths of Gayle, Pollard, Bravo, Russell, Narine, showing interest more in franchise cricket then international cricket

Actually Zimbabwe, if given the number of fixtures and exposure that West Indies get will form a better test team and will be able to retain talent, even Ireland. ZIM in all fairness still produce good cricketers, ICC's short sightedness will never make them look beyond the top 8.

WI don't seem to look beyond T20 these days, it's pretty much a done and dusted team in longer formats.

Zim, even Irish team can perform in same away like Bangladesh / Sri Lanka or West Indies doing in WTC in their home. Due to poor administration they are failing to make their demand in ICC to be a part of WTC. Afghanistan case may be differant as there is an issue about their govt and venues for hosting test matches, still if they host any team in asia they could challenge them with their mighty spin attack.

Questions will definately be raised someday on the team finishing bottom at WTC and the reason of non inclusion of Zim/ Afg / Irish team in WTC

Absolutely, should be some sort of a relegation/promotion system.
