I agree with a similar point you made about West Indies, that is very true, but I think Bangladesh may yet do OK in test cricket, they've got a lot of fan following and plenty of youngsters will keep Picking up the sport.

Its not just one or two wins. Its little things along the way also. Can ZIM/AFG/IRE score 450+ in Tests at home? How about in SENA countries? Can they get a first innings leads against teams like PAK or NZ? Can they beat the defending World Champions in a 5 day game? Can they do it with extended quarantines cutting into practice matches?

If BD can beat NZ without Tamim or contributions from Mushfiq, they can beat Windies and even SA too. They can beat Sri Lanka at home as well.
