Prior to the game I was going through the stats of SL batters and was surprised to see Kamindu Mendis average in the 60s at domestic level. He followed it up with a brilliant twin knock in the test. Surely a talent there.

First time I saw Nahid Rana, is he the quickest bowler in Bangladesh right now Kriterion? Looked like a good prospect.

SLcricfan, how are you feeling watching that innings. 126-6 to 400+. two guys scored all the runs in both innings.

For a BD fan it was painful watching. However, the pitch really looks dead now. No turn and not really any seam movement either. That green live grass from the first two days seems to be gone now.

511 to win for Bangladesh.
pretty good. but this bd bowling lineup isnt the most experienced and the pitch was yeah, quite docile.

Yeah I think he's probably the quickest in BD now. Definitely in terms of average pace through the first spell. I don't know what his top speed was, but he clocked 149.7 in the BPL this year.

Ebadot has the fastest international speed of recent times (to my knowledge)...I saw 147+ in South Africa a couple years ago and he may have hit 148+ elsewhere but I didn't see it. Mashrafee apparenty hit 148 or so in NZ back in 2002 but that was before my time.

Nahid's average speed in the first spell is impressive. he was averaging 143-144 throughout the spell. By far the fastest in Bangladesh as Ebadot is next and his average is probably high 130s or 140 max.

Good win from an SL perspective. You want to absolutely demolish an inexperienced side, and SL did that in spades.

Totally forgot about Ebodat, Bangladesh are surely missing him. What's the update on him?

They have a very good pace attack Bangladesh, somehow all if them don't kind of come off at once. Taskin, Ebadot, Shoriful, Mushfiqur, Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana, Khalid Ahmed... All of them are pretty good.

Yeah they are all pretty decent. Nahid and Ebadat are express. Taskin is genuinely quick on his day. Shoriful, Khaled, and Mahmud are fast mediums. Mahmud is the slowest of the lot at around 135, but he can touch 140 on occaision.

Still recovering from an ACL injury and surgery. He's started running recently and said he would resume bowling a couple weeks after Eid (in another 3-4 weeks from now).

Shakib back in a surprise plot twist. Bangladesh still struggling tho he bolsters the batting and bowling. 8 batters now.

SL will surely be batting till tea on Day 2, and amass 600 runs probably before declaring. Bangladesh will need to bat well to save the match.

SL heading towards a declaration here. 411-5 at lunch.

So often the past several years we've seen Bangladesh come on to bat in the last hour of the day after conceding a massive total on a flat pitch and then being 4 wickets down inside 15 overs. I'll probably break my laptop if that happens again.
