Yup - weather permitting, anyway. Was a damn good day out last time England were here, and the Blarney Army need all the help they can get when the Barmy Army are in town.

Looking forward to watching the game. England will be well up for it.

Captaincy of Paul Collingwood is definitely a thing to watch out for. Heard that a very promising opener with good technique, Joe Denly is going to debute against Ireland. I watched him playing for England Lions. I think, he has a good future with England.

Joe Denly certainly is a promising talent Detective RDS. He hails from the club local to me..Whitstable..and there are often articles on Denly in the local paper.

...and he's just scored a 50 on debut, after surviving a few close appeals on 49. About the only England batsman to put up any resistance, mind you.

I think you should play spot the player playing for the country they were born in

may take you a while to find one

I'll have to check on that when I get home. Surprisingly, I suspect we'll come out of it better than England, bearing in mind their habit of 'adopting' Irish players...

England finished on a poor 203/9. Raining rather heavily at the moment, though, so who knows when the Irish reply will get underway...

You would've thought, wouldn't you? But Ireland somehow conspired to lose it when they had it on a plate - note that England didn't win this one, Ireland threw it away. Trent Johnston did his best at the end but left his push too late (and had no support anyway).

Angry now.
