[Series Thread] Tracking Zimbos in Shpageeza League
Re: [Series Thread] Tracking Zimbos in Shpageeza League
Good knock from Elty 41 off 35 balls. An inform Chigumbura can change any game sad that he isn't bowling too. Hammy with a bit upfront too.

Good to see the boys doing well early in the tournament
Mire 2/22
Chigs top score with 41
Ngarava 1/23
Sibanda 59
Burl 38
Chatara 2/25
Raza 3/9
I noticed Chisoro is also in one of the squads, so many Zimbos it's great

Chigumbura with another quick fire 24 from 16balls. Why doesn't he do this locally anymore? Chisoro with only the one over so far going for runs (14)

Form is temporary, class is permanent.
Exhibit A: Vusi Sibanda
Exhibit B: Elton Chigumbura
NB: I see Morne van Wyk and Cameron Delport are there too.

If they were white you'd claim its only a league from an erstwhile associate nation.

You're welcome to pull domestic T20 stats for Taylor's(& Sean Ervine) record in BD & NZ. Same with Kyle Jarvis and look for my comments.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 9:46 pmIf they were white you'd claim its only a league from an erstwhile associate nation.

Guys with "class" can't possibly average low to mid 20s with the bat in international cricket across formats. If thats the case then Aftab Ahmed is also a class batsmanpariah wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 10:10 pmYou're welcome to pull domestic T20 stats for Taylor's(& Sean Ervine) record in BD & NZ. Vusi does look class, but he isn't in the game mentally. How someone can look that good but have such a mediocre average is entirely frustrating.

All the gear and no idea poor old Vusi, has the technique and all the shots to be a great batsman but seems to have no idea how to consistently build an innings.
