For some strange reason I have developed some blind faith which indicates that we will win today.

Burl shouldn’t be anywhere near the T20s it’s a bit of a head spin why he is there , Chisoro needs to play and pj to push up the order. Blessing took two wickets and has been a real find lately in the shorter formats not sure why he should be dropped , id drop Jarvis as I don’t think we need to play him as bad . More a test and odi bowler ( lately has improved his game in odis ) . I like the look of blessing a lot and if he can sort his Run up out and pick up some core strength as well as 5-7 kms he will be a serious handful for any batting lineup. Raza Taylor and hammy are the key for us and need to start delivering more consistently, more so Taylor is what I mean .
Favourite playing xi

6. T.Taibu ( wk )
7. S.Ervine
8. H.Streak
9. A.Blignaut
10. G.Cremer

Indeed. But he'll come good, all quality players do

In this format I think PJ can do some real damage if he comes in early and gets in. Yes I have called him out many times but I know he is one go the biggest hitters we have and can be really dangerous when he gets going. So I would play him higher up.

The person I would drop lower is Raza because I think he can get going quickly. Waller needs a couple of bowls to score may one 10 off 8 then he can get going. Burl I just don't know where to play him honestly in this situation. Maybe Ervine is a better pick here because he has more experience so he should have more shots to offer. Otherwise they are just the same.

Funny enough I think Bobby is useful in These kid of games because he has a decent slower bowl which he has developed from a decade of being smacked around. I knew this squad was too thin and we are going to pay dearly for it. Some teams even have 16 guys on tours.

My team would be

Hami
Mire
Taylor
Moor
Craig/Burl(can't possibly play them any lower)
Waller
Raza
Chisoro
Cremer
Chatara
Blessing/Jarvis.

Trust me when I say Burl can smack a ball. I recall him telling me T20s were his thing.

I am starting to come to the conclusion that neither PJ or Ryan Burl are up to it :(

In T20s or in general? I think so in general about Burl. Moor might still do well with red ball cricket with fielders up in the circle when he begins his innings.

Best Zimbabwe ( Playing XI )

Solomon Mire
Tendai Chisoro
Hamilton Masakadza
Peter Moor
Sikandar Raza
Brendan Taylor
Malcolm Waller
Ryan Burl
Graeme Cremer
Kyle Jarvis
Brian Vitori

####Chisoro has the ability to hit, should be given chance to open, and provide free flow. Solmon Mire should bowl atleast 2 overs within power play.Taylor & Burl, run a bowl player needs to bat at 6, 7. Brian Vitori needs to play to provide dimmension into the attack

Burl and Moor are up to it I think.

They've just been playing a lot in the subcontinent, against quality spin on wickets which are alien to them. Not to mention the fact they keep coming in low down with too much to do. (Obviously not in the last game, but generally speaking).

Burl has what it takes having seen him play, and Moor is tough and determined. His test record is good so far.
