Serious Trouble Coming

Post by TapsC »

Its do or die now gents. Now lets get one thing clear. Suspension or expulsion will not lead to this fantasy of a new board being formed and thing suddenly getting better with all of our favourite coaches and players coming back. This is a very serious issue. We will NEVER ever recover if we are suspended. Those are the facts. So what we need to do now for everybodys sake is stop all the nonsense going on. Sit down and figure this out.

If you truly love this sport now is the time to stop social media campaigns constantly harrassing anybody to do with the game. Whether its the players, Streak or the board. We are now at the very end of the line unless something is done urgently. If we want to survive this we all need to come together and actually figure out what the hell is going on and find a SOLUTION. We can argue about other things another time. This could be it folks.

Looking back at it turning on India was the biggest mistake we have ever made. England and Australia will sacrifice us anyday.

So the ICC can finally see the loan scam for what it is and want it stopped. That is a good thing.

I agree that full suspension would be bad. However difficult it is to make progress from where things are a complete exclusion would not be easily rebuilt be any means. The Rugby analogy doesn't work in my opinion.

Your calls for a workable solution are admirable - but there does have to be some concessions and shifts by the thieves, surely.

True the thieves have to go. Its a tough decision because if they do figure out how to cut this loan down it will be a big win for them. I guess it comes down to what we are willing to lose in order to get rid of them. Would you burn your house down to kill a snake?

Well everyone would be better off if the loan gets cut by 6 million.

And...it depends on the size and lethality of the snake!

Well this is now very simple.

Is Bvute and his buddies at the bank more interested in the survival of ZC, or money coming into their pockets..?

This is D day

This could be a very good thing and the ICC have been very shrewd with this

delay the loan until 2023 from zamco/metbank whatever its called or risk suspension.

if the bank doesnt budge there will be very little money trickling in anyway if we are reduced to a kenya role in world cricket

well done ICC

Why don’t they take a close look at the multi million dollar stadia refurbishments done just recently to see what they’re dealing with? They know and I guarantee have a fairly accurate dossier on the misappropriations over the years and yet they continue to allow it. They’re extending these guys an ultimatum and a lifeline at the same time that further entrenches them.
They could just as easily say form a new board and these are the people we want because we’re done with your thieving corrupt mismanagement, but they won’t. Why?

I disagree Taps, now is not the time to all pull together for the greater good. NOW is the opportunity for the players union to approach ICC with every single bit of dirt they’ve got on these guys and say here’s our plan for OUR future because we have zero faith in these bastards that have destroyed our cricket, please listen to us and give us a chance to set things straight.

Nobody in their right minds can believe for one second that the same people with their wings clipped can do a better job than they’re doing now. If you’ve been a corrupt incompetent thief for 15 years you ain’t changing.
