So who do we think deserves a shot for FC cricket in Zim?
Brad Evans for me is front runner, any other young players?
Players who deserve a chance in FC cricket
Re: Players who deserve a chance in FC cricket
Tanatswa Bechani, the spinner at Queens, is the leading wicket taker in the tournament. I reckon that merits a shot.
Re: Players who deserve a chance in FC cricket
All the top wicket takers are spinners and most of them unknown to me prior to now, they can't all get a chance so it's hard to say who is most deserving. Batting has been dismal with only the well known batsman doing any good.
It's hard to judge without seeing any action, but the lack of runs and dead pitches (according to reports) have been disappointing. ZC needs to realise that the culture of producing slow deck wickets isn't helping anyone, not the batsman who struggle to score on them, not the seamers who get very little assistance and not the spinners who get a false sense of security about their game.

Muchawaya, Bechani, Odendaal, Oldknow, Evans.

Good suggestions there, CrimsonAvenger. Odendaal has consistently picked up wickets. I wouldn't be surprised to see Odendaal and Oldknow turning out for the Southern rocks as they are already playing for the Masvingo team in the NPL, along with a young English guy called Oskar Kolk, who I also believe is lined up for the Rocks.

Oldknow is average.
Odendaal absolutely should be given an opportunity. Watched a video of him the other day bowling somebody and the stumps went everywhere; can clearly bowl. And he bats too.

Not the first spinner to do that.
Warnie was a huge puss head and smoker for instance
