Theres the shot of a good player- soft hands, opened the blade, took a single down to third

Chari and Chibhabha are waste of space here, also batting first probably not the best option when you have a weak bowling attack.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Chibhabha's obviously not going to last in the role, his form will make sure of that.
He's not a bad player but he's sort of in that 8-12th best batsman in the country fringe zone with Moor, K-Long, etc. On merit he'd probably play every now and then (as has always been the case with him) but he's no automatic selection.

I didn't think they'd change the opening batters, and in fairness they needed another go, but I would certainly have sat Mumba out. An interesting conversation will be how many players traveled to Pakistan and didn't get a game.
Maybe they're waiting for the dead rubber and they'll empty the subs' bench?

Chari 10 off 27, total liability and it's painful to watch. The worst outcome here is if he makes something like 25 off 55 and keeps his spot.

BT must have had a lot of single figure scores to only be averaging 35 with that world class 50/100 record of his.

Looks like it will be a pretty demoralizing day. Might undo all the goods from the last game.
