Ryan Higgins

Post by franco vazquez »

Mans racking up stats in County cricket but still not getting a look in for England. Just saw he was born in Zimbabwe, could be an option for Zimbabwe?

No. I don't think he's ever been part of the system here; must have moved to England at a very very young age. Can't see him ever being on Zim's radar and I can't see Zim ever being on his radar either.

Besides, all-rounders are the last thing we need; we have hundreds of them!!! If he was an opening batsman or dedicated 140kph+ bowler then maybe....

Yeah there was another Ryan Higgins - who played the U19 World Cup - I knew him as a teenager! He played for the senior side very young and inexperienced around 2005/2006 but then disappeared off the scene - I think he left the country

The last time the county playing Ryan Higgins played for Zim was at u13 level. That was actually quite a good year group as well in hindsight. Tom Curran, jongwe, Ryan higgins, k-long, mambo.

I heard the other Ryan Higgins owned a cricket shop in the UK but I may be wrong
