Zimbabwe have found the batting which they need for future, now they should hunt for seam bowling allrounders, 140+ kph pacers and wicket keeper batsman
I am not a pace expert but the likes of Wagner and Jimmy Anderson seem to bowl under 135km/hr but their bowling always is unplayable. Is it really a matter of speed only or we can develop the stock that we have to bowl god lines learn to swing both ways at their natural speeds. Philander comes to mind as well.
Pitches in which they bowl support seam & swing whereas Zim tracks are flat, reverse swing matters in such tracks, hence speed is a factor.

If Zim pacers Muzarabani & Nayuchi gets to bowl in tracks where Wagner & Anderson bowls, they will proof lethal and win games for Zim

Is it now a requirement that players have to have a certain hair style to play for Zim.
Remember when they made them all shave? That was a turning point that marked mupariwa's decline
Was about to say that myself :)
:)
Hey this Myers bloke seems decent, eh? I am still trying to come to terms with these young fellas stepping up.

There's a bit of excitement isn't there.
We just need somebody coming through the ranks who might genuinely be sharp.

What ever happened to Dylan Grant?

Young Shumba is playing a Trevor Gripper kind og innings, blocking every ball. Damn, following the stationary scorecard on cricinfo, you wouldnt knoe if the game is in play or on drinks/lunch breaking guess its better than Zims legendary batting collapses of old.

Shumba has at least shown some resolve, batting for such a long period.

Good approach from Shumba, he is the next talent that could give balance to the Playing XI. His batting is not such concerned but he needs to develop as spinner allrounder.

Zimbabwe barely lasted 3 days in the tests vs Pakistan so I feel this approach by shumba had been instructed. It is good for his confidence eating up balls. It is a four day game against much vaunted south Africa A opposition.
Shumba has the range of shots where he can move through the gears.
And as I say this he has hit the test spinner for two fours in one over 😁😁
